Torn Between Two (published 2018) is set in and around Krissi's home town of Wareham, fictionalised as the village of Trentmouth. You can get a brief idea of it by clicking on the book (left).

Molly and Lucy are best friends, but Molly has a secret. She is torn between telling her best friend and keeping her promise. Lucy has recently returned to the village following a disastrous relationship.

When Alistair knocks Lucy off her horse, he finds himself instantly attracted to her. Alice is desperate for Alistair to marry and provide her with a grandchild.

Bertie’s arrival in Dorset changes everything, nothing will ever be the same again.

When Sparks Fly (published 2020) is again set in the village of Trentmouth, a tiny village on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset right in the heart of the Jurassic coast.

We discover that after the birth of her daughter and with her husband, Alistair, by her side, life is complete for Molly. However, following the death of her father and her mother deserting her for Spain and a husband taking more interest in his business, Molly discovers that life is not the idyllic fairy-tale she imagined.

Family life puts her veterinary practice in jeopardy and Molly turns to Hugh – the locum – for support.

Sandra, Molly’s Mother, arrives from Spain with the much younger Enrico in tow making demands. Molly finds herself in an impossible position and after a blazing row with Alistair, she moves out returning to the farm, her childhood home. Bertie lives at the farm and his partner Lucy is suspicious of Molly’s intentions.

Molly confides in her best friend Lucy realising that suffering alone she has neglected the needs of others around her, including Alistair. Finding herself becomes a crusade, discovering that this may just be the best thing that ever happened to her.

Forever and a Day (published 2023) is the third in the trilogy set in the fictional Dorset seaside village of Trentmouth, where life is never dull.

Molly and Alistair await the joyous arrival of another new life into the family and to their friends they are the perfect happy couple. Bertie finally opens his vegetarian beachside café with the support of his wife Lucy, a midwife at the local hospital. The Reverend Suzanne has caused quite a stir in sleepy Trentmouth and Lady Isobel has plans of her own at the Manor.

Tranquillity is short-lived when Molly has to make some serious decisions about the veterinary practice she has worked so hard to build; Lucy’s health is threatened and she is faced with imminent changes at the hospital and the ‘Rev’ has ruffled one too many feathers.

Molly, Lucy and Suzanne continually find themselves thrown together for mutual help and support turning this quiet little backwater of village life upside down in ways they had not expected – will life for them ever be the same again?
